So a little bit of background on my restaurant. I can bake and breads are sort of my thing. I mean there really is nothing like the smell of fresh baked bread and all that kneading of the dough is great, free therapy. A bakery was sort of a natural choice for me.
Additionally, I think breads are beautiful with their different tones and textures. Bread is my art and it is glorious!
The name is derived from a joke with the guys my husband used to work with. Most of them were single, so I would sometimes bake a bunch of cinnamon rolls for them. I make a mean cinnamon roll (you should definitely try one or even two), so they were pretty popular. The guys he worked with were always telling me that I should open a restaurant near them and call it Rocking Rolls. Thus a dream was born with the goal of making the noses, mouths and stomachs of people happy. Rock On!
